To all Burners - past, present and prospective: now hear this!

You're officially invited to participate in Parklife, the first ever AfrikaBurn Gatheration taking place in the dappled shade of Rocklands Park (next to the Deer Park Café).
Encompassing the spirit and vibrant culture of AfrikaBurn, Parklife is a gathering of burners that will take the form of a 'Show and Tell’. In line with this open forum, prospective burners will have the chance to familiarize themselves and engage with the principles on which this event and our ethos is built as well as the practicalities of surviving and thriving in the desert.
You are invited to come and ask questions, give input, play, have fun and connect with other burners.
A family-friendly environment with plenty for kids to do, Parklife will feature acoustic musical collaborations, discussions, information exchange and a film screening at the end of the day. Participants are encouraged to dress up and release their creative spirits.
Bring a blanket, a hamper and a curious mind! Deer Park Cafe are also offering wholesome foods specially prepared for your picnic. Orders can be made beforehand; the picnic menu will be available on Deer Park Cafe's facebook page a week prior to the event.
Theme camps, artists and performers are invited to network, display their talents and share the workings/philosophy of the burn with newcomers.
