My name is Ranger Bob and I am the current Health and Safety Co-ordinator

You will notice that we have planned ahead and the pro-active forum pioneers have created threads around some of the big health and safety issues such as MOOP (matter out of place), SOOP (Sounds out of place) and the issue of Nudity and Photography.

AfrikaBurn is an event run on radical principals, an event where the agency (the power to act) must always rest in the hands of each burner and not solely be held or be the responsibility of "the organisers", as a volunteer driven movement we are all the change agents, we are all pushing the boundaries of experience, participation and inclusion. This makes it a delicate balance to hold a safe space as well as a free and creative space.

Please engage! Post issues you have faced and don't be surprised to be asked to participate in solutions.

Please volunteer! Without you there can be no AB.

Please educate! Each one teach one what it means to be a burner.
