Burning Books!

Hi all,

I am planning a book sharing / book donation event. The idea is that everyone brings some books to share with others. You give what you want, you take what you are interested in. At the same time there would be an option to donate books to the Bookery (or similar charity).

So, more to the point

1. Would you attend such an event?
2. Would you prefer week night, weekend day or weekend night?
3. Any particular day that would be best for you?

This is such a great idea Ard.
I'd definitely come.

How about a weekend afternoon, some place lovely where we could gather and hang and browse slowly.
Some place that makes delicious coffee . . . maybe Deer Park Cafe would be a good spot.
They've got that great park area outside if the weather's great, and all that inside space if it's not.
And things to keep kids occupied.
And the owner is one of us : ]

Excellent idea I was thinking of the Bijou, but Deer Park has the advantage of being kid-friendly! Also, they have tables and do food (and coffee!) which reduces the organisation overhead...
